All of our children take part in ‘OWWL’: Outdoor Woodland & Wellbeing Learning.
It’s hard to believe that within a busy city, children are able to find an early years setting that brings together the most beautiful natural surroundings. Look no further because at Mansel Park Nursery, outdoor learning forms the heart of our daily life with activities taking place all year, whatever the weather.
Being attached to our primary school, our nursery children get to explore a vast amount of secure outdoor space where learning takes place about the natural world, a potting greenhouse where children go to plant and grow seeds, plants and food, among more enriching activities.
Our OWL provision gives children the very best start in developing some every day skills. Including how to explore woodland safely, to using the natural environment for crafting and den building and how to safely use tools when gardening or planting.

Our Play Room
Our play rooms are large, light and airy with direct access to our secure outdoor spaces. Our settings provide the most warming welcome for all our children and their families, hosted by our kind and nurturing team.
